There will be situations and/or circumstances in our life that we have to deal with. The only problem is how we handle or deal with them. We can choose to fight our own battle and war in the flesh. Or we can choose to give the situation, the problem, the circumstance to The Lord and let him fight as us and for us. We can only do this when we get in peace by receiving the peace of God that is available to us in the midst of the storm. Why do you think situations and circumstances turn into storms? Mainly because we tried to handle them in our own strength and did not recognize that the battle belongs to The Lord. God did not give us carnal weapons he gave us spiritual weapons.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical weapons of flesh and blood, but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, Inasmuch as we refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Situations and circumstances are always magnified when we allow our imaginations to get out of control. But when we cast them down they loose there stronghold and can no longer take our mind in places that will ultimately cause us to respond or act incorrectly.
Exodus 14:13-14 AMP
Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
The Egyptians represent situations, circumstances and strongholds that come against us to destroy us. We don’t have to fight these enemies because the battle has already been won! Glory to God! Hallelujah!
